A little help.

Hi, I'm sort of new to DesktopX and I'm just trying to do a few simple things but I am having a great deal of trouble. I'm already running WindowsBlind and ObjectDock without fail. All I'm trying to do is load about 3 hard drive icons for my HDDs, a weather and calendar widget, and a recycling bin. The weather and calendar widgets seem alright, I can just choose those from the ones including with DX and they seem to work fine. I haven't tried the Recycling Bin yet, but the HDD Icons are really giving me trouble. First I tried te included C:\ Drive, and it shows up and all, but I believe it only works for your C:\ drive? and I want an icon for 3 different drives, also the meter says I have 91% free space which is entirely incorrect. So, I downloaded one of the DX Objects from this site, I can't remember the name but it's showing up as Label 4, when I load them, two green lizard heads show up wth links to this site and one to My Computer I think. I can change them all around to point to the hard drives, but everytime i load another one or try to delete one or change a label weird things keep happening. I think the labeling/parenting/grouping is what really is screwing me up. Is there an easier way to put HDD icons on? or is there a trick to the labels? Any help is appreciated, sorry so long.
