Apple Mac's Aren't Too Shabby Anymore

But it is now longer so. Since my best class is computer 3D animation (for grade 11's!!)(94%), I was suggested to go to the Head-End Room. So I went there, and one of my grade 12 friends gave me some info about the stuff you do in it. So he ask if I was interested, and I was, so now I'm a 'tech fledgling', or 'techy'. Some of the stuff you do in that room is manipulate the T.V. wheel, assemble stuff for assemblies, fix computers, videos, etc. Stuff no-one would even think about. I wouldn't be surprised the time bar on the bottom and count-down is made from DesktopX!
So anyways, the main OS's used in that group is Mac OS X. The ones I've used before were Mac 7, and all they do is corrupt your files! So I thought that would be the same, until I it. And holy shit! (pardon my language); It is better! Before I would never even think about buying Mac, I would only buy a Windows-based computer. But now... I don't know what kind I want to buy! There are both pluses and minuses.
Best for each:
Windows:
Gaming
Themes (Eg: Windowblinds)
My Familiarity
Coding (Dreamweaver)
Imaging (Photoshop, 3Ds Max)
Macintosh's:
Main Graphics
Video Editing
Video Making
Music Listening
Emulating Windows
Impressive Themes

Although I do have to disagree about the 'impressive themes' part. For the most part, because of the limitations of OSX and the lack of freeform skinning, pretty much everything is just grey bg, small circle buttons. Blah after blah, and not entirely inspiring stuff, although very very usable as it's not distracting, and it's more attractive than the default osx look.
It's a shame, cause David Lanham and Max Rudberg have pulled off some nice stuff within those limitations. Eylo, by Max, for example, is probably the most unique Shapeshifter theme out there. Probably not to everyone's taste becuase of the colour choices, but it would be great to see mac themers step outside the box.
There was that new theme released recently, the one that won the Macthemes contest, and got made into a full suite. That was a fine piece of work, hope there will be more people inspired by it.
