do you make the icon different for the 16x16 size?

sometimes, it depends. If it is lokks good as it is or if the small version is only seldom visible, there is no point in spending additional time designing it.

if referring to icon developer, highlight the 16x16 - choose 'edit' or 'edit with'

i see some icons are a bit different for that size, i leave mine but just want to see what others do

depends on how they look.

i kinda like the way icon developer will let me have a completely different icon for each size.
