Are you interested in helping me BETA test this gadget?
There are 2 modes: (Main Screen / Mini Mode):
Main Screen (V1.08), used to control most functions.
Mini-mode used to start/stop/pause time on tasks.
Properties:
- There are multiple color options
Beta Testers:
- if you interested in testing this use the link below to download the SETUP program.
- This is a Time based Trial, you will have 15 days to try it out.
- All functions are enabled except the "upgrade" function.
- use the HELP - Email Support link to email me with comments, suggestions, or problems
- Check HERE (in replies) for updates or bug fixes.

I suggest just the 'welcome' - replace that with "some form of gizmo/logo/thingie...that identifies the proggy."

Have to agree dump the 'welcome' only. The date ties in nicely but, maybe shorten/make it narrower (if it doesn't look crappy) if necessary.

Thanks to those who have sent me input.
It seems like most issues were cosmetic, and some were just minor bugs.
The latest TRIAL version is 1.08
If you want to try this out you will need to remove the entire \program file\commercial gadgets\ folder.
if you need to keep your "Data" just take the section that starts:
Rate|??.??
FirstName|??????
Just take from FIRSTNAME down, every line till the end, save it and then put it back in after the install is done, replacing the info that the trial sets up.
Use this setup file to run, and please let me know of issues or problems.

Define commercial appeal?
End User or as an added value giveaway for large websites/companies? I've got one about 2/3 done (third task in the screen I sent you yesterday) that I'm about to shop around to some of the larger sites. As a user I wouldn't pay for it but, if provided free then I'd download it.

If you are planning to get this gadget to businessmen and busy working people you will need to make the user interface more easy. From a general users point of view that seems confusing.

not so sure myself. Too much 'prominence' can be a distraction.
Possibly with that 'cell' set double height - name on top centered, bold - thus also allowing the 'help' to be double height to match (and making it easier for people like me to find it ) - but that would offset the other buttons' balance.
Maybe 'prominently' displayed at the bottom?
