Object Bar & Media Player 9

In the same way that I have avoided loading WB5 because of the skins available for WB4.6, I have stuck with Media Player 9. Yesterday, I loaded Object Bar 2 and everything looked nice until I pushed the button to pay some music! After OB2 had finished trying to load files etc as it seems to assume MP 10, System restore wouldn't work, MP 9 certainly wouldn't work - "an internal error" and despite restoring a backup with Norton Ghost, things are not quite right. I can't access the web interface for my VOIP phone and occasionally windows reports that there is an IP address problem.
I am not a happy bunny, but I'll give it a week before doing a rebuild.
