Wallpaper Changer Feature???

Need Some Help

Wednesday, September 6, 2006 by wscwebyoda | Discussion: WindowBlinds

Can anybody assist me with something?  I've made jump to the latest beta release of Windowblinds 5 and have tried implementing the wallpaper changer feature.  I have it set to change every hour; but, it never changes.  I have set it to change after every login... still no changes.  Is there a hidden setting, a bug, or something that I'm missing????  Please help!

Dang! Hope it gets figured out. I DLed gef's new DX theme...it runs fine. He also provided a link to get wallpaper changer, so I DLed that also, but didn't install or unpack it yet. [hmmm...think I'll hold off just a bit on that.]
Thanks for the post.

Friday the 13th... don't think so! Instead, it is something that continues to make me mad. I've reported the issue multiple times and in multiple ways... yet, no answers like all the other questions I've asked from support in the past. Guess its time not to renew my ObjectDesktop subscription.

Part of the problem is you have reported 2 different issues as 1.

Initially you reported that the changer never did anything at all, but also mentioned the hourly issue.

The problem was therefore assumed to be a registry setting problem (you had to have certain options set for it to work and this was non obvious), which was resolved in later beta builds.

Assumed to be a registry setting problem? What type of problem? What options? None of this has been explained in any of the posts that I've made, nor in the requests from support. Finally, obviously the issue is not totally fixed because there are still problems occurring!

I'm guessing part of the options was to not have WB apply a skin
