About standalone Widgets

Wednesday, September 6, 2006 by neophil78 | Discussion: DesktopX

As i can notice, widgets are little standalone programs which can be run if desktopX is installed on the PC ...
But as they are .exe programs, these ones can't be changed and are each time english ready ... is there a way to modify existing widgets to bring them in the language you want, or is there any chance that Stardock give this opportunity ?

Widgets can be edited with DXbuilder. Gadgets cannot.
When DX builder starts, click the "Import a Widget" button.

You want to edit the embedded images?

try here (after loading up the widget in DXBuilder): C:\Documents and Settings\{USER_NAME}\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\DesktopX\CurrentTheme
