Congrats to all the Teams & Individuals who participated. You ALL were great! Special acknowledgement & congratulations goes to MikeB - You have come a long way and produce superior work - your medals won here are a small tribute to your talent. Any and all additional praise I & others here can offer is VERY MUCH deserved for you. Thanks Mike for sharing all your work not only here but at Wincustomize & other sites. ALSO... I must give a BIG shout out for DanilloOC... I think your work went under-appreciated at this years GUIOlympics. You are probably my personal favorite skinner. I love your work a LOT.... AND I think as was obvious within many of the other 'comments' sections here, you are a TRUE FAVORITE of many other users!! I really enjoy your vision & creativity as well as your absolute command of skinning WB's. A couple of your skins came in the top 5... But you DID deserve a couple more medals!! (in my humble opinion.) Thank you both MikeB & danilloOC especially!!

Indeed, I think we are seeing the emergence of some new powerhouses.

...the old pirate, wearing his best formal suite, with his wood leg using an extra varnish hand and his hook shinning like brand new, stands on the comand bridge oh the phanton ship and asks to say some words... I would like to say a big thank you to some people. Thank you Stardock, with as special refer, to Brad and T-man for organizing a competition of this high level, something never done so far. Something that no other company never did for the skining community or the skinners. Thank you to my team mates, people that worked very hard, pushing pixels to their limits, giving their soul for making their best to our team, for us to submit to you. Thank you to all the other contesters. You guys did a wonderful job, I never dreammed with so many high end skins and icons putted together in such a small time. My congratulations to you ALL. Thank you to the judges, who made a treemendous judging effort, testing, analizing, using all those uncontable skins. Thank you to all users. Without you, our skins would be just a lost effort in the space. You guys are ther real winners of this contest! I consider myself as a blassed person, today, I do for leaving what I like the most, skinning and I bet that many of other skinners also have the tallent and skills for doing that, if they want. Thank you very much you all! ... and the tired pirate goes back to work, also thanking his parrot for being quite and not interrupting while he was speaking...

It was a great contest indeed! Congratulations is in order to all the participants...and I think treetog said it best...all us non-skinnin' folk are the real winners. I also have to agree with BareFootNekked and give a shout to DanilloOC, his skins were my favorites in this competition, and I would of loved to see him take home a gold. Thanks for your awe-inspiring skins, they will remain with me for as long as I own Windowblinds.

Hey, congrats everyone! I'm just a bit confused, thodo medals for a section "Top Winamp Individual" count for the "Overall Winner" contest?

I also would like to thank all companies organizing it (especially Stardock) for their effort. It is good to see that skinners and iconinsts can find their second home and show the world what they want to show. It really helps our skinning community. Thanks guys!

This has been a ton of fun. Thanks Brad, Pat, and everyone else who made this happen. Thanks to all the skinners who participated and made this such a tough competition. Thanks to my team for putting up one hell of a fight. Thanks BareFootNNeked for your very kind words. Big thanks to my wife for letting me make skins when I should probably be mowing the lawn or something.

I'd like to thank myself most of all. without me wasting time skinning, I couldn't have done anything. seriously though congratulations to all the winners so far and I would definately be at a loss if I didn't think my team mates. great work guys, you've inspired me. I would think all the skinners who I look to for inspiration, but there are too many. congrats breed, pixtudio, and all the individuals who pulled off such great feats of skindom.
