Elimination of User Voting

We are making a rule change: User polling is being eliminated for the final rounds. As we get to the larger prizes, the judges need to be able to look at every skin.

Becuase the public are lazy and stupid, and don't bother to vote for the skin in relation to the category and the function of the skin. Instead, people seem to be voting based soley on the screenshot of the skins or who the author is.
Personally I haven't placed a vote in the contest, for two reasons.
1. I've entered it, so I don't see it as right to cast a vote.
2. I don't have time to go through and D/L all the skins.
However, if I was voting, I'd make sure to evluated any skins I was going to pick, before casting my vote.

If what you say is true, it's ironic that my skin (the one with all the plugins) was in first place in the user poll for the best use of plugins...

yup David, I believe in your case users were right, In my opinion, you SETI green skin is by far the best "plugin skin".

I wasn't fishing for compliments (or insults) - just thought it was strange that the decision to change the rules was made so late in the game. I should've read the message board first, I see there's a lot of conversation about the user voting in there.
