I don't have any new information that would satisfy you, but I wanted you to know that you were not being ignored.

No one knows that yet. If that was the case I really would have said it. While I speak diplomatically in these forums I don't like to shuffle around the truth so I attempt to speak plainly.
You demanded a response and I provided the best that I had.

You people have been shuffling around the truth FOR OVER THREE YEARS!

Anyway, IMO your little freudian slip - "No one knows that yet" - just confirms what I've been saying all along - IT AIN'T GOING TO HAPPEN!
Now THAT'S the truth!

You have to understand Seabass, a lot of people purchased multiplicity because of that one bulletpoint near the botton of the product page... "OS X client in development."
So my question to you is: Why not release an unfinished product? You guys release beta and some times even alpha versions of your object desktop products all the time. Plus, think of all the testing support you'd get if you did released something.

Juno,
Unfortunately your pleas are falling on deaf ears because I believe Stardock have no intention of releasing an OS X client - they just don't have the balls to admit it! I mean just take a look at Seabass's avatar. It's got a paper bag over his head so no-one can recognize him! ![]()
Use Synergy instead. It works, it's free and IT"S HERE NOW!

I happen to like my paper bag guy. I made it after all.
I sorry for the troubles here but I have said all that I can on this matter. When I have more news I will happily post it.

Hey paper bag guy, santa's nearly here and a new year will soon be upon us.
WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU PEOPLE DOING ABOUT THE OS X CLIENT???
HOW LONG DO WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR YOU TO RELEASE A TIMEFRAME OR ADMIT IT'S VAPORWARE???

Hey, I'm curious if there has been any news on the Mac client. I didn't want to start another thread, so I'm posting in here. Sorry to revive a long silent one, but I figure that's better than having lot's of the same thread...
No rush, I'm just curious. ![]()

Hope you're not holding your breath for this - or an answer from SD for that matter.
Use Synergy and ditch Multiplicity because there will never be a OS X client for it. Stardock doesn't have the balls, nor the respect for the loyalty of it's customers to make it official.

look into synergyplus. there's a new update for it just recently. you can find it on google code and it's worth looking into. it shouldn't take 4 years to release this software for mac os from beta stage. i admit that writing software is difficult but not '4 years difficult' in this case.

Vote with your pocketbook people. I too bought Multiplicity Pro for the promised OS/X client.
I would gladly pay another $100 for a OS/X client. Even if it had reduced functionality. No questions asked. Someone please feed that back up to the Multiplicity teams boss ![]()

Throwing in my voice for Multiplicity on the Mac. It would be really nice. You guys do have a habit of releasing beta and alpha versions of software, so it must be missing some pretty big key features for you guys to hold it back so long.
I hope you are able to get over the roadblock and release something. Good luck! ![]()

I guess Multiplicity just isn't important enough to get the development time it needs. Theres still no Mac version. Everquest has been broken for years (probably since Multi was launched). Now the new Ultima Online enchanced client suffers the same symptoms as Everquest. It might be that the problems with [insert problem here] just have them stumped, but I'm leaning toward the theory that it just keeps getting pushed back to make room for more important things (
) .
Anyway, from what I've seen on these forums in the past few years, I fully expect to check back every 6-12 months only to find each of these issues at exactly the same place as they have been from the start. At least until the forums finally just disappear and Stardock pulls support for Multiplicity.
