| Component Tray will alert you when there is a new Object Desktop component available, allows you to launch components directly from it, gives easy access to Stardock Central and online information! |
You installed this via SDC at some point. Load up SDC, click on object desktop, select Component Tray and then unistall.
Problem solved.
But . . for what it's worth . . SDC and Component Tray are solid pieces of software. THe problem might be with your system. Can you post what error you are getting when it crashes?

The error is:
sdctray.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. The debug file contains:
I get the crash just from right-clicking on the icon in the sys tray. It is annoying that it doesn't work. However, I must say that I am having random issues with WindowBlinds in general. I paid for ObjectDesktop and I would rather get my moneys worth. As for the rest:

If so, it's required for programs like Object Bar, Object Dock, Right Click and DesktopX to "recreate" the systray. It can be "turned on/off" from the Settings dialog in the Stardock Central Tools menu. Be warned... if you use a systray in any of the mentioned programs it will come up blank with it turned off.
If not, you'll need to be more specific as to what your referring too.
