location of stock icons

how does one access the stock icons in windows? looking for the file path. thanx

Probably the largest file containing default Windows icons is: "C:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll"

Another one with fewer icons is: "C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe"

you can find some in C:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll

right click an icon, properties, customize, change icon
