Wednesday, July 19, 2006 by Peter Gambino | Discussion: Docks

Quick question, im sure theres an answer for....

I recently accidentaly moved one of my tabs two tabs to the left, with no idea how i did it, ive tried everything and i do mean EVERYTHING to move it back two spaces to the right, tried holding shift key, ctrl key, alt key, right clicking and looking through menus, theres really no need to go on, you name it i tried it, of course everything except the correct command that is (or i wouldnt be writing this)

Somebody out there has to know how to move tabs into different positions on a multiple tabbed dock...

Right click on tab, Choose Tab settings. Select the tab you want to move. Click the small arrows to the right until you get what you want.

Thank me later.

I've done it too . . and can't figure out how. This method works to fix it though.

Open the Properties dialog for the tabbed dock > Tabs & Styles > highlight the tab in the list, and use the the arrow buttons to move it.
