SD Virtual Desktops

Tuesday, July 18, 2006 by KiloKrash | Discussion: OS Customization

I have only recently began to become interested in Virtual Desktops. I am having

trouble configuring Stardocks Virtual Desktops (1.99.[b]007). The config. option is

not available when I right-click VD to access it. I'm a compleltly new to VD. I'd

appreciate any assistance one can offer. i.e. Tutorials, Brief run down of the

basics. Thanks!

Should that be 1.99g[b].007?

Try uninstalling it (archive first if you want to), reboot, redownload/install.

I had that issue with the earlier version (no configure) but updating to this version fixed it.
Possibly reinstalling will fix it for you.

Slightly off topic but still related is Aston's Altdesk works really well as VD manager. I have used Altdesk for several years without any issues on multiheaded systems, I have used Altdesk with OD, WB and DX and loved the way it works, and it skins well too!
