Skinning is stupid!

I love to skin. It's a hobbie that I love to do. Its fun to upload things I made and see it be welcomed in the skinning community.
So my question is.
Why do spouses and or friends think skinning is a waste of time?
Am I the only one with this dilemma.

That and the fact that centuries of in-breeding have left him with a DNA profile that resembles that of a Yucca plant and a family tree which is a straight line.

When I get a notion for a new skin, I confess that I do become obsessed with it, and want her completed, and view her in all her glory..but I also know there is a real world out there, and my fiance needs me too...so im glad i wasnt pig headed enough to ignore his pleas, and give my skinning a rest and quit for the day in the afternoon.

Well, Finally got my wife interested a little with my Flower Garden DX theme. 
Not sure how long it will last though. I guess i will have to keep making some brighter skins every once in a while.
She is actually asking me to see how many downloads Flower garden has. Lol

That's why I got a 100% loyal cat (Zane) who lurks on the staircase waiting for "guess who". 
Look.....she's got her grandaughter to "skin". I've got my laptop.....she doesn't understand, but I don't expect her to....

Everyone has got the right to use his free time as he (she) want !
Why skinning should be more stupid than playing video games , listening to music, or watching TV ?
Then , I think it's a form of creation as respectable as photo, painting and so on...
And it's a good way to spend long winter nights
Last : no problem with my wife, I'm single !
