New video card for me!

The fact is: Even upgrading just a family (Nvidia GeForce 5200 to 6200) makes a HUGE difference!

That's my next card....a PCIe put out by XTX. My fav puter shop has one put aside for me at a really good price....I'm paying it off, sort of like a layby. Have to do it that way cos I also need to up my GPU to accommodate the extra juice it will require
I'm also looking in the next couple of months or so to upgrade my Soundblaster Audigy 4 card to a Soundblaster X-Fi Platinum to function better with Vista. I cannot utilise all my current card's functions in Vista, meaning I have to dual boot with XP to access them, and I'm rather hoping to install that on another machine so I have so I can do away with the dual boot set-up altogether.

Yeah....only getting it to up all my 'Vista Experience' scores to above 5.
Nah, not really....was looking to upgrade my 7600GT anyway - cos sometimes I have draw/redraw issues during multi-tasking - and my current power supply is a lower end unit and was only a temporary anyway. The one I have set aside is the Antec 550 ATX12V.... should have enough grunt for what I need.
