Firefox, mp3 player

I need help...

1. Whenever I click a link from a website, the link opens up a new window but instead I want firefox to open a new tab. How can I do that?

2. How can I transfer songs from my mp3 player to my computer? I use sony and I use SonicStage.

Thank you.

There is an extension called Tab browser Preferences" that you can customize the behavior of your tabs. As for your mp3 player, you should be able to view its contents with Windows Explorer, then you can "drag and drop" between folders.

You don't have to use an extension to do that now.  Just go into options, then select tabs.

Then select new windows to open in a new tab.

My RCA Lyra shows up as a drive, so I just drag and drop. Just go into options, then select tabs. Then select new windows to open in a new tab.

If you don't want "all" links to open in a new tab every time you click on them then just right-click a link and select "Open Link in New Tab".

Thank you everybody.

The drag and drop didn't seem to work.... I couldn't even play the file on sonic stage...

Or use middle mouse button when clicking links
Or hold down Ctrl as you click a link.
