I'm also getting a "You are not authorized to edit this post" message when I click on the Edit link in prior posts. If my post is the last one showing in the thread, the edit window opens normally.
Again, as shown in the screenshot, the new post window and the edit post window toolbars show "Font" & "Size" where a font name and font size should be showing by default, respectively.
Here's the info from the Help/About dialog of FF:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4

Daiwa, the edit behavior is by design. I'm afraid that won't be changing anytime soon.
Unfortunately the build of the Wincustomize forums that you're using at the moment isnt being maintained any longer and we're preparing the new forum engine (which can be viewed on forums.stardock.com and forums.galciv2.com presently) with a wincustomize theme. I can't say exactly when forums.wincustomize.com will be switched over to the new codebase, but I can say 'soon'.
Thanks for the screenshot of the issue you are having with the editor on firefox. Unfortunately FireFox's developers decided that the designmode just wouldnt provide the same cool information that IE does when in design mode. If someone manages to pick apart our editor and finds a way, we'll gladly take a look at it again. But at present it's just not a priority. It doesnt limit the editor's use in any way, no prevent anyone from making a post.
There is, however, an issue with the formatting going byebye. I'll be looking into that today. Had I not seen your screenshot, I wouldn't have known where to look for that. As a workaround for the WYSIWYG editor in Firefox (which is what you're using) click the 'Advanced Mode' button. The formatting does post correctly from there.

However, I'm having difficulty locating this 'Advanced Mode' button you refer to.
Maybe a screenshot would help.

When I view this thread in IE, as soon as I click in the Add Your Comment: window the font dropdown changes to Verdana & the size dropdown changes to 2.
It doesn't do that when I'm in FF - they continue to display "Font" & "Size". Maybe that will help?
