Curser XP Plus

Curser XP and Stardock Central App

Wednesday, June 14, 2006 by kati7332 | Discussion: Stardock Support General

I have Object Desktop loaded from CD. I was prompted by Stardock Central for new version of Stardock Central and various other updates for Object Programs which I installed thru Stardock Central App. I also purchased Curser XP Plus. Since Curser XP seemed to be the shareware version (since it did not sau plus) when I found it under Misc in Stardock Central Application, I loaded from the link I received in my email and installed to default directory of Program Files\Curser XP.

The problem is that Stardock Central is looking for it in Program Files\Stardock--so I won't know when an update is put out. What is the best way to fix the problem? If I uninstall and then reinstall to the Stardock directory will things get mixed up? This is a fairly new Media Center 2005 PC and I don't want any problems. Please Advise ASAP. I don't want to leave it like this for too long.

Uninstall all CXP instances. Reinstall CXP through SDC.

yes, reinstall via SDC.
make sure you register it in SDC first
it won't say plus in SDC - but when you run it, it will have the extras

don't fret the updates, SDC will notify when there is one = it doesn't get updated too often.
