Question

Hey guys im a new user but ive downloaded windowsblinds skins and wallpapers before, but lately i want to try and make my own skins and share them and i would like a insite on how to start in the process so any help would be greatly appreciated.

One thing you can do is open a skin in SkinStudio and try editing one for yourself or just look and see whats involved. The more you play around with it the more comfortable you'll feel and then one thing might lead to another.

thanks, is the basic one any good? i dont fancy paying out the money until i get used to it

I would first download Stardock Central from here: https://www.stardock.com/products/sdcentral/

It will handle updates, upgrades, archiving, IRC chat, forums, and news. {and allow you to get SKS}

1) Not really a skinner

2) At work and MSN is blocked (along with all the other clients and IRC )

If you have an IRC client (SDC, Trillian, mIRC) I strongly suggest that you go to irc.stardock.com

There are usually lots of folks there that can help.

ah right thanks anyway, is there anyone here that is good at animation? wouldnt mind a little favour please.

If you have DesktopX there is a little appin cluded called AniUtil that converts multiple images to a single animated image.

ive jus opened skinstudio to edit a skin...and oh my..where do you start? lol im going to install mIRC and see if anyone can run me threw everything on msn if they have the time.
