Object Dock+ vs. Realtek

OD+ kills Realtek HD Audio manager

Friday, May 26, 2006 by Lantec | Discussion: ObjectDock

I bought a new Media Center PC that comes with the Realtek ALC 882 Chipset and I've found that when OD+ is running the Audio Manager dialog will not function. It will come up but will not repsond to any kind of input. Close Object Dock and it immediately starts working. I 've updated the drivers to their latest version (April 2006) and it made no difference. I'm using the latest version of OD+

Just wanted to report it since there is a work around. It's just a pain to have to close OD+ just to adjust my sound setup.
