Can someone tell me how to make a 16 bit image.i tried photoshop.but i cannot save an image file after developing it in 16 bit in .bmp or .jpg format.I gets saved in .PDF format,which is not being accepted by the bootskins creating software.plz help...

The important point is that a bootskin is NOT a 16 bit colour palette.  It is a 4 bit colour palette.....and that means it has 16 colours....
