CXP, tooltips and Samurize
Tuesday, May 2, 2006 by anaeleus | Discussion: CursorFX
It's come up a couple of times on the Samurize forums that CursorXP 'breaks' tooltips in Samurize configs, and I can attest that yes, that seems to be the case. (Bear in mind I'm only talking about Samurize config tooltips - the toolbar and desktop icon info pops up fine.) Tooltips work fine when not running CXP, but fail while when it's on. You get nuthin'. I did recently discover that if I set the cursor to hide after x seconds of inactivity, then they pop up as soon as the cursor disappears. So, a few questions...
Has this been brought up before? Could the issue be looked into for any future version updates? Are there any known work-arounds? Or am I going to have to choose one or the other?
Let me know if that wasn't clear enough, and thanks for listening,
J.

Do you mean that it's been probably been 'shelved'? Or is about due for some work?

My opinion only. I think it's on the slow list of products to be updated.
| This IS the support forum, isn't it? To get support for the product I paid for? |

Last update was December 2004. Granted, the program works pretty well and may not have required an update in tha last few years . . . but that's a long time out of development.
