No system tray

Saturday, April 29, 2006 by sTonEbLuE | Discussion: Docks

I cannot get "system tray" to show in either tabbed or regular docks. I have the latest version of Object Dock Plus. And , yes, I know where the setting is...

Thanks in advance.....

SMCP enabled?

I had a SMCP crash at boot the other day and lost my tray.

can you turn it back on via SDC?
tools > settings > general > enable MCP notification area support

Do you have mcpcore.dll and sdmcp.exe in 'c:\program files\common files\stardock' ? They sometimes go missing when SDC updates.

These files need to be there for the systray to work. If you don't have copies anywhere else you may need to reinstall SDC to get them back.
