My New Ride

Tuesday, April 11, 2006 by Sleeping Dragon | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Well, at least while I'm bogged down at work, I can play a bit during the commute. My new ride is the 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser. A sort of retro version of the Landcruiser, the first vehicle ever to make checkpoint 6 on Mount Fuji.

I had one of the early Land Cruisers back in the 70's and rolled it down a hill called the Widdow Maker. What a great vehicle that was and congrats to you.

I'd prefer a McLaren F1 myself to all of these.. But, I'm stuck with my LE 04' 300M. ..

Oh well I can dream.

Nice ride SD.

I had a good friend whose Dad was gonna buy him the car/truck of his choice after graduation and he chose the Land Cruiser. I went with them when he was going to get it and he ended up leaving the dealership with this new type of Toyota Truck called a Wolverine. Their first 4-WD pickup sold in the US. It was the same color. Have fun with it.

Similarly, I recently traded my '04 F-150 Lightning for a Nissan Titan. It's nice to have 4-WD again and the interior puts the Fords to shame. I'm up around 12 points on my license so I needed to slow down. Course if they all had caught me I'd of lost it long ago.

Thanks all.

Please don't use my pic in post 20 without prior consent. I see enough pictures of my head on someone else's body.

re: #10
These have lately been appearing in and around Sun Valley, Idaho and Hollywood, etc, as the "in" ride to have and be seen in!
