Does any body know any good photoshop tutorials for beginners?
Another question why are there no photoshop tutorials to make things like Desktop objects, object docks ect.?

The tutorials you find concerning creation of things like objects, docks, etc., are written by people. The person writing the tutorial may not be using Photoshop.
