Bootskin issue

Wednesday, March 29, 2006 by gtuck1231 | Discussion: New Users

I downloaded/installed the bootskin program and imported several bootskins that I wanted to try out. With the latest version installed, my computer boots up to just past the point where it displays the new bootlogo, and then crashes (BSOD)...I am able to go into safe mode and disable the bootskin program so thats a plus. I did try the 2 prior versions as well. They didn't cause the blue screen on me put after the new bootskin drops off screen and the OS should come up, it just sorta hangs there indefinately. Anyone know a fix for this?

Thanks for any ideas..George Please feel free to e-me gtuck12_31 at isomedia.com

Seems like a cool program if I cold get it to work right. I've manually changed my boot screen before but I've also wreaked havock on my OS before as well. SO...since I have my system running quite nice these days, I'd like to be as unintrusive as possible.
