Strange problem with SDC and 'Download and Archive'

Hello, I have a strange problem with SDC. I use the 'Download and Archive'
because I want a fresh archive of the new versions in addition to installing
them.
One problem however, SDC consequently reports (when finished downloading, and sometimes
before):
There was an error downloading and archiving IconPackager (replace with any product. HD) The following error occured:
Error: No files found within the XML file (Code: 16)
Result: Download and Archive failed (16)
Additionaly it stores the archive as an .SDC archive, which the SDC itself cannot handle.
When doubleclicked it only starts SDC, possibly with the 'Restore Archive' window open,
but the clicked archive isn't there. (no .SDC archives is).
I use the current version of SDC (2.30.382.120).

.SDC=The extension for sdc archives it seems. No longer .Zip or???
