Keep losing my settings

I set my desktop to a theme with WindowBlinds ver 5(it dosn't matter which one) but after the pc has been turned off for an hour or two then restarted, I am back to the standard Windows XP desktop. Can anybody tell me how to keep the desktop theme without having to reload it after booting up everytime.

I bought Object Desktop a few months ago. WindowBlinds has worked fine up until a few days ago, now no matter what theme I use, after a reboot it reverts to the xp desktop. I have just loaded a theme with Theme Manager to see if that is the same or if windows will keep the settings.

A WB5 update was added to SDC a couple of days ago. Have you updated lately?

Yes, I check for updates every week. The strange thing is I loaded a different theme yesterday and today it loaded OK. I dont get it, why load some days and not all the time.

I just began experiencing the same problem a couple of days ago. I even ran 3 consecutive startup/shutdown sequences as a test; the first 2 restarts loaded my preferred, preset skin, while the third reverted everything back to the default XP skin. Now THAT's weird, and it's driving me crazy.

I've come to the comclusion that while WB is a fun program to use, it isn't worth the money.

EDIT: Yes, because of it's stability issues.
