ObjectDock Backgrounds & .PNG files..

I downloaded a few backgrounds for ObjectDock tonight from this site but none of them are ObjectDock THeme files.. THey are all .png or .ini files... How do I make my objectdock recognize these files so I can use them?? thanks..

Like I said ; its what works for me....I have the free-ware version, and I have played with it for a while. I'm sure there's better help coming along, But I'll help you with what I can....again good luck!!!!!!

Just follow rychian's suggestion. Most of the backgrounds are not themes. In fact, there are very few themes. Themes are used best by you, for you. This allows you to have a certain setup, with docks, icons, etc. saved so you can use later. Backgrounds just need to be unzipped into the Background folder. You can then select them from the Appearances section in the dock config dialog.

Thanks guys... I was trying to add them to my ObjectBar folder, not ObjectDock.. haha I got it though.

My question, and I've been searching for an answer for a while now, is what ARE the respective folders. I understand the background folder, but what about all the other ones in there? When I unzip a download, there are lots of things in there and I don't know where to put them all.
I like this program a lot, but there just isn't any support information for it....

Thank you so much; I ended up copying my png files into the images AND the background folders. I'll go and review this and hopefully it will answer my questions

what works for me is to unzip the files >>>hi-lite the folder and move the folder to "background" if its a background..."theme" if its a theme...ect... sometimes I had to open the folder...and hi-lite the objects in the folder then move them to the respective folder in objectdocks folders......good luck....I'll check on ya later....
