Rainlendar noob

Friday, February 17, 2006 by aimzzz | Discussion: OS Customization

I've been using Rainlendar for maybe 2 weeks, off & on. The last couple of times I tried to start it up, nothing became visible, although TaskManager showed that the process rainlendar.exe was running.

I don't have it set to run at Startup, because I don't always want it running. I set it to have no tray icon because I don't like seeing the date all the time. It's set to run at "Normal" level-- didn't want it always under or always on top.

Anyway I don't know how to make it visible again. I didn't consciously change any settings, but could have changed something accidentally. Have tried different skins, back when I could see it

Any suggestions?

aimzzz, after you start it and it doesn't show, start it again. I have the same problem, it may be something in the newest build, because it happened when I updated. About a year ago, one of the builds of Rainlendar did the same thing. So I think it's the program, not you. You can also try reinstalling. Rainlendar generally has no problems just reinstalling over itself, and maybe something didn't "take". Good luck!

LOL Boss, that is too drastic. Aimzzz, try clearing the rainlendar cache. get rid of all the ini files in the cache folder and all will be reset into their default positions and settings. close rainlendar. and then run it again. that would do the trick. Good luck!

Cleaning the cache did the trick. Thanks y'all
