Symantec Block

Wednesday, February 15, 2006 by The_Executioner | Discussion: DesktopX

I downloaded a theme with google search, msn search, etc. When I tried to search through these engines, my symantec antivirus showed me a message goes like this:

"Symantec Script Blocking has prevented a script action that could be harmful to you.
Application : DesktopX.exe
Source File : C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\DesktopX\"C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object
Object : Windows Script Host Shell Object
Method : Run"

Could anyone help me with this problem?
Thanks

Norton sometimes does this when files are being written or when the registry is being used. Some DX themes/objects/widgets use files and/or the registry to store information.

If the theme was downloaded here, you are 100% ok to accept the script to run in the future.

haven't used 2004 but I'm kinda guessing that if you don't get that message again with the option to always allow, turn off script blocking
