Changing Wallpapers (Windows) like Tiger OSX

Sunday, February 12, 2006 by aer0sense | Discussion: Customization Software

Ok you know how Tiger OSX has the option to keep changing the wallpaper every few seconds? its so nice... I really love the way mac changes wallpaper like the opacity goes down and then slowly the other one appers. all smooth.

Is there any software for Windows that can do it...!

There is a widget that can change wallpapers at your chosen interval, but I don't think it will do the fade in/out thing.
It's here... https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=154&LibID=34

There may be more widgets that can do this too if you look further. I think there is other software that you can get that will do this too. Try a search on Download.com.

Does anybody know if the animation on change of wallpaper via WFX works? if it does, what it looks like?

For the record, I personaly like Webshots. It doesn't do the fading thing, but you can save a set of wallpapers as a collection file so you won't lose it if you uninstall the software.

WindowBlinds does the wallpaper changing as well but that's it. You can't save your collection and the image browser doesn't even allow you to see the titles or display a preview.

tbh i don't need a collection, i just need the pictures to fade into each other when it changes picture, like in osx, that's all i want, but damn me if it isn't impossible to get a thingie that does that.
