Battery meters

Hi everyone,

I recently tried to use a battery meter object and found some strange behavior when setting the "performance meters 2"-plugin to show the battery status:

On Windows XP (I don't know about other OSes), the output value the performance meter reads seems to be a number between 0 and 100 indicating the amount of battery power left in percent.

I wasn't able to have the performance meter display a corresponding graph correctly, because it seemed to insist on interpreting the biggest measured value as 100% (thus, when activating the widget at a battery level of 50%, it consistently showed the double percentage of what was really left). The text output can be set to directly output the input value (resulting in correct values), but I didn't find a corresponding option for the graphics.

Is there a way to correct this (maybe using the performance meters for scripting client, on which I didn't find any API-docs ?)
