You may have somehow got a corrupted download of either xion or my skin. The extension .xsf is for xion and should automatically load up for you. This is a first of hearing about this problem. I downloaded it from here to see if there was a problem but it worked fine for me. Try to reinstall xion and the skin, it should work�

Pretty cool looking...even better would have been to have the keyboard react to the music level...almost like an old player piano.�

Thankyou I.R.Brainiac, That was my original thoughts for this skin and may even become a reality if I do a version 3. This is a 53 layer project not counting all the merged ones, photoshop is trying hard to keep up with my ideas and mouse clicks. The only reason I didn't do the keys like that is because I wanted it to look like it was playing a song but I don't know how to make that happen with animation and 60 layers for keys without locking up photoshop. I had the cover animated to slide open and closed instead of fade in or out and couldn't use it because photoshop was locking up from having too many layers.

Problem solved with using the download file. Simply had to place it in the correct
sub-dir and choose to show all...pretty cool looking skin! Thanks for the help ��

Maybe you need to merge some layers...I have no trouble with skins with 100 layers...but merging unnecessary layers will clean things up and make the skin less cpu intensive.
you only need 10 or 20 more layers for a vu meter ani...no need to do all the keys...tho that would look cool.�

I will give the ani.keys another shot but the only layer that could possibly go would be the preview, all the rest are function layers and effects such as mouse_overs and indi (I just couldn't sacrifice)
The only other alternative would be to make the keys use the vu meter which would only leave 2 options (lr or rl) would still be cool but not as much as animating them��
