Ill check it out... there will be an update for this skin soon.. with Logoff/shutdown dialogs and some other minor fixes... i think i know where i went wrong with this one... hang tight and check back soon for Blackbird 1.1
Also working on a new skin atm.. Whitebear... it will be very "see thru"

I seem to have a bit of a problem with the theme... when I joined a new forum last night, I went to change my preferences, but couldn't save any changes I made, and it seems to be because the button to do so is either "made invisible" by Blackbird, or made the same colour as the background itself. Here are two images; in the first one I'm using your theme, and the second is Essorant's "Caracal" :

An absolutely tremendous job VoidCore!
The blind and wall is perfect in every way for me! And that start menu is pretty ill!
I really love the text details you've added, min, max, reset, kill, active and select!

Yes Nice work! But I agree that Black is WAYYYYYY overdone and this skin has no specialness to it? I dont think it looks X-box at ALLL! Diff green makes the big diff! I like the grafics but Add some spice! All in all i have no room here since i cant make skins? LOL. But someone likes it tis featured and thats why I am Here!

You would be surprised how many people do use vertical taskbars, always try to skin a WB from one end to the other. A skn can be judged very harshly by someone who thinks 'you've left them out' This applies to toolbar Icons too. Couple of things that kill it for me tho. Hopefully you will take this constructively. The bevel\lighting\shadow is overdone, One thing I can say about skinning in general, from experience is, usually.. less is more. This is reminicent of a 90 's type skin.. If I were you I would work on refining yourself in that area, cutting down on general bulkyness. It can be all the diff. in the world. Many new skinners make the same mistake in their initial forays, shadows too dark, bevels too big\light.. if its 90% opacity.. make it 70,50.. experiment. If the bevel is 3-4 pixel, make it 1-2. typically lower is better. Secondly, the menu's, toolbar background, all too dark, most folks especially on CRT's will have a hard time reading black text over a dark grey background and can be a make or break for a lot of end user's. The right click Menus dont seem to be skinned at all other than a simple mousover. (MS Outlook is unesable) Lastly and this is just preference, the taskbuttons\ tray are far too simple..imo. I would try to make the buttons, glow, inset, have some kind of action.. or at least center the 'state' text' in some kind of box, having it over the buttom outline makes it look awkward and crowded. Couple of cosmetic flaws.. the taskbar text isn't centered verticallyand the taskbar, toolbar, clock text are all different sizes.. font size should be ...imo.. universal. Lastly when making a window small, horizontally, your titlebar font is merging with your buttons (content margins) Lastly.. check tons of skins..all the way back. Compare what you have done for originality.. the only way to know if your being original is if your knowledgable on what has preceeded you. Conversely.. for a first skin , you show potential, people have been hoping that some decent new skinners would emerge, looks like your well on your way. 8 stars from me.�� Sorry there is no spacing.. Black & green is sooooo Xbox.
Dark themes are just sooooo pas...
Nah... I can't sustain this charade
I was afraid someone would suspect me of being a Nvidia fanboy... btw cant you se i have a folder named PS3 theme on my desktop.... xbox.. pfft yesterdays news
