The update problem has been resolved. Everyone should get the correct file now. Sorry for the trouble.

If you already purchased it, you can either go to your WinCustomize settings and look on the Registrations tab, or have your serial numbers emailed to you to download the update.

Awesome update but I seem to have stumbled upon a bug. When the windows are a certain size the bottem left corner looks odd, as if something is under the frame.

Heres a pic:
A little hard to see there, just reformated and I don't have photoshop, but the lower left corner you can barely see it. (it fades when the windows are inactive)

EDIT: It seems to only happen on the edges of the screen. How odd...

Astyanax0, that's a little glitch that is caused by the blur effect and my unusual window shape. It should be even less visible than that though. I sometimes see it like that on windows that are open when I first apply the skin. Once I close and reopen the window it looks ok. Does that help at all?

No it still shows
For me it only happens on larger windows, and it seems to be just on the lower left hand side of the screen that it shows on. If I move the window away from the edge of the screen it disappears. I figured it wasn't your skin as I was able to have the same thing happen on Diamond as well.

I just experienced it here, and on the 3rd time I applied the skin, it cleared up. I may have to make a blur-free subskin if it turns out to be a problem.

I've been trying to get the skin to apply, with no luck. I end up with nothing skinned at all...

Dunno what could be causing it, as the other skins that come with WB6 work fine.

DannyDPX, I would suggest deleting the Optix skin folder and reinstalling the skin.

I think its a bug with WB, hopefully the devs can reproduce and fix upon release.

Tried that 3 times, with reboots in between attempts, still no joy.

I just updated to the newest release and it seems that there is a bug.
When the window is rolled up to the title bar, there is part of the title bar graphic on the left that is jusr "dangeling" there.

great, finally a skin I can use on Vista, I love it. question about the sidebar skin. I copied it according to the instructions, but when I go to 'change my sidebar skin', it doesn't show anything about optix. any help?

never mind, it wasn't in its own folder, just in the root of wb. working now and looks great

Now I bought it when it first came out. Do I have to pay for it again to get all those updates? I re-downed it from stardock, but it's the same old version. Was going on?

it works now for me, had to rename the wba to zip, then manually extract. might be a glitch in how sks6 packs skins...

FMP8, the window frames are not designed to roll up, which is why that feature is disabled in the skin. You must be overriding it in WB Config? I would have needed to design a much simpler window frame for the pieces to roll up nicely.
