I do not like vista styles either. I thing something along the Windows Aero skin would be better.
I do not like the use of the Word Start for, a nice symbol of some sort in there would be nice. I use a skin called Capt America, I like the glass transparency button that it has next to the minimize button in upper right hand corner

if you dont like vista skins then dont download it or dont make some smart comment.
There are people like myself that appreciate it and like everything about the skin.
