Not much great dark skins around anymore. This one of the best I've seen yet! 5 Buddy's from me. Keep bringing the dark skins!

I am indeed entitled to my opinion and so are you Jafo, but where I was a gentleman, you lowered yourself to a childish level when you started with the name calling. For and admin you should know better.
I don't have any wish to start making my own wb skins, I am already too busy with other projects! Although I would like to thank scion to offer me a free copy of skinstudio.
I've seen skins made by boxxi in the past and so I know he can do better, it just seems he rushed this and the previous project!

I've had a love affair with dark skins since discovering XP blue was no longer to my liking.....and this WB meets with my approval and fulfills my expectations. It may not have the whistles and bells of Vista-like skins, but is nonetheless still very pleasing, easy to use.

I quite agree that Korperarts comments are unnecessarily harsh and quite rude.
However I do also agree that this is not your best skin imho BoXXi. It just feels unfinished to me- the flat grey of the non-chrome part, the taskbar which doesnt quite match. Its a great concept- I've often wondered why noone has done a chrome WB... but this one feel half-done. I do think the actual chrome effect itself is wonderful and perfectly done (I tried this myself once and it was a nightmare)...

....is perhaps an Australian colloquialism so perhaps it's in need of clarification. It means 'bull-shit' or 'pull the other leg it plays Jingle bells'.
It was in direct reference to xSCORPx's comment which was trying to rewrite #4 through starry-eyed mis-interpretation.
All that not withstanding, I still consider the comment #4 rude and unnecessary.
It's this same attitude that deters so many of these 'great skinners' from even bothering to make their works public.
Here's a little parlour game. Ask all the skinners you are 'friendly' with how many skins they have NOT bothered to even upload simply because they do NOT WANT this sort of response....as it gets really old really fast.
There has been MORE than ONE skinner who has said "I don't need this shit....I'm out", and deletes his works.
Why do you think some people disappear? Boredom?
I really want to see the option available whereby the uploader can decide IF he wants comments at all or not....and/or only by his peers.
And 'peers' means fellow skinners who also suffer this same bullshit attitude, not 'peers' meaning 'well screw you, I paid my membership I have the right to say what I like'.
That's no 'peer', that's 'pea-nut'.

Well. My goodness.
With the first cup of coffee in hand, I checked WinCustomize this morning, and I was excited to see a new BoXXi skin listed. The comments, however, really sort of ruined the mood. I had to go away for a while to decide why I found the comment so discordant. Being neither a skinner, nor an artist of any kind, I had to step back and think about it.
Then I came back and found Admin Jafo had pretty much summed it up in comment #13.
I am using this skin now, it is functional (I really like the Max-Min-Close buttons), and if you are actually using your computer, it is good to have a more subtle, less flashy skin, as not to distract you from your work. And to my not-so-great 50 yr. old eyes, the type face is above- average readable and high contrast (in most places), which really helps.
Jafo makes the point that a malicious comment can be a real deterent to the artist. That is what bothers me so much, that the rest of us may miss out on future skins due to the thoughtlessness of a very few. BoXXi, for every negative comment, there are thousands of us who perk up when they see your new releases. Perhaps our fault is that we don't take the time to tell you that. We should.

I just installed the skin. I think its great, it goes good with some of my wallpaper.Everyone is entitled to an opinion but disrespect is wrong. Just my opinion

I had to come back to say that I've been running this skin all day a have found it to be one of the most easy to use dark skins ever.....no issues with dark backgrounds/reading text, etc. It may not have the fancy doodads of some skins (for some, that is), but that's the appeal of this blind. Add to that its functionality/usability, and it makes for a great skin that's a pleasure to work with/use.
