about the pink think i do have this issue but only in the compact substyle the normal taskbar it's fine and i do have the last w.b.

Hey Josephs, great skin. I just had the magic pink thing happen on programs part of start menu. I took a look at it in SkinStudio.
You are using 255 0 255 on a tga, magic pink is for bitmaps. You have only transparent set for the seperator image which would be ok for a bitmap but both transparent and translucent are needed for a tga.

Ok..... I hope you guys realise that the Places List is Red and Translucent...... I hope you're not looking at it on a white background (Making Pink) and complainging about how its Magic Pink... LOL

Hey Josephs, it is on the programs side of start not the places. It seems to come and go. Is not happening now so can't send you a screenshot. Now and then the seperators show up as pink.

I love the suite; great attention to detail. However, the only gripe I have with this skin is that the progress animations don't quite match the rest of the skin; perhaps recoloring them, or creating new animations would better complete the skin?

Nicely done for a dark skin. Very few end up completely usable, this one is. I too am having a pink border problem. In my case only on the pop up menu for the desktop. I am using Right Click, so I don't know if that figures in. I have the latest version of WB 4.6. I right click the desktop and that menu has the pink border around the highlighted item.

-- Don't really know anybody (cept GOD) that gets it always right the first time.-and then sometimes you wonder- I got the 'pretty pink' square too.Also had to go to the color mixer to light'in up the grey.However,the skin takes to color real well and got a Super Black and Gold.All & All you done Real Good but keep on tweakin'.--- --- B!

I guess "ease-of-use" wasn't a concern with the start menu considering the bottom 3 items on the right side of the start menu are impossible to read.

Form should never be more important than function. Sometimes you need to sacrifice what you think looks good for something that may "work" better. If i loved this theme but couldn't read text on the start menu i wouldn't use it for more than 5 minutes. Its something worth fixing. My 2 Cents.
