This is a very cool skin.
I wasn't really sure what I was going to get because of your background, but this is sweet.
Minimalistic it is, but everything is available, low resources, everything works. Nice. I recommend this highly

Ultra minimalistic? How about near invisible. 
It's a good thing I had my library open or I would have never found your player with my current wallpaper. Seriously, once I found the proper color and played around with the skin I started liking it. Some of my skins are getting so large that they are taking over the desktop. SysMetrix anyone? You skin is a very nice retreat back to an open and clean looking area. All your buttons are easy to see and everything works fine. And I like the separate text panel. That's a good idea. And I just now found the button for changing the color directly. Another slick idea.
