I know and unfortunately it's a bug as a result of not using any graphics. The problem appears to be that Winamp refuses to draw a gradient in a straight line using it's internal drawing commands, even when told to draw in a straight line. So the issues with the gradient angle become more apprent the more it is stretched until it eventually displays hot pink where it cannot calculate the appropriate value. Oh well, it was an experiment and this is one of it's limitations.

I know nothing about code or programming or whatever... but this must be something special, for you not to use any graphics. 
Your skins are always top shelf when it comes to looks... and since this one is not really... there must be something else special about it that I'm to ignorant to see.

Thanks for the good words guys! Yeah, it's not my usual style, but it seemed like a fun thing to try. When you have to rely on skimpy rectangle and gradient tools for the entire interface, even simple things like sliders and buttons become much more challenging. So it lacks the visual appeal I usually go for, but it's a good example of how to push the Winamp modern skinning engine.

frenchy, you mean cover art? It works now by looking in the folder of the currently playing track for any of the following filenames: cover.jpg, coverart.jpg, folder.jpg, front.jpg.

I usually never comment on skins (as I lack any expertise on that topic )but this is the most useful skin to me I have ever seen!

I know that this skin was uploaded a while ago, but I just rebuilt my machine, so I had to reinstall winamp. I was looking for some clean skins, and I decided to see what our community had to offer. IMHO, this is one of the best skins for winamp - ever. I like that there is no gimmick, no attempt to try to be flashy, as a matter of fact, it is the opposite. I really appreciate attempts to push the limits of minimalism, particularly with items such as this. In any case, very well done. I would love to see additional recolored skins based on this one. I will stay tuned.

It seems you must be running your computer in 1024x768, and of course, submitting art like this only creates a schme of trial and error as I have found 1 problem. I run my desktop at 1280x960 and have found that the MEDIA LIBRARY window cannot be stretched to its fullest without creating magic pink in the ML Titlebar. Shame, because I really love this skin so far. Once this is corrected, a definate 10/10
