Ripping may seem like a light issue to those who apparently do not care about their work OR simply have no work of their own to care about...but the dislike OF ripping is a very real, very substantiated concern. What if, for example, someone stole some of YOUR work, uploaded it to his site, then proceeded to sell it, making money on YOUR work - with no credits OR permission from you?
Point is, it may SEEM like a petty, trivial issue to you, but there ARE hoardes of folk out there who steal everything from ENTIRE websites, to program skins, icons and such only to turn around and make money off someone else's work.
it's irritating...
