Before you read the rest of this comment, I just wanted you to know that this is constructive criticism, and I don't want to discourage you from making future maps.  I just want to point out the issues I see with this map and its playability so you can make better maps in the future.

 

This map doesn't make much sense.  You have a bunch of stars with pretty much completely random (albeit weighted) planets.  The names "Human" "Advent" and "Vasari" don't need to be reserved in galaxyforge.  Those names are pretty much useful if you want to make a campaign-like map.  There are a ton of stars pretty far apart; I don't see a purpose for those, and it's just an unnecessarily large map overall.  I'd recommend trying to start of making a much smaller map, most likely meant for an even number of teams.  This map is playable, but not really practical.  There's too many ways for players to hide from enemies, and the way some of the stars and planets are connected is pretty confusing.  Adding to the maximum number of players to this map would be helpful, but even then, this is a game that would have to end in diplomatic victory, since there's a limit to how much one may expand their fleet (I suppose they could have maxed out starbases everywhere, but that's pretty tedious and boring).

well, before you read my answer, you should know, that i am not angry or something..as i said, its unfinished and i need criticism to finish that map one day..
what you say is partly correct, but if i would do everything you said, i would create "another" generic map..we already have a lot of them..
i wanted to create something completely different..
sadly it is not possible to create the "real milky way" without "a ton of stars"..
on the other side i understand your arguments, the map is at this time not really practical..
but its also not finished yet..

p.s. i have a question..there is a problem with that map i couldnt fix until now..when i start a new game, it sometimes happens, that f.ex. the tec have an advent or vasari picture. and..is there a way, to fix the startpoints? so that the tec allways start on earth?
