....Akadia was crumbling from within and without, the war over who would rule had finally broken through the vacuum wall that kept the Akadia in fresh oxygen.....Cryotogerian and Vulcan had been in the dome since the firefight had started, searching for the last of the Royal line that still existed, Princess Shelleych....they had succeeded in finding the Princess, then came up to the point of no return, expecting one of the two to die in the assault, which is standard procedure, they had only supplied a getaway vehicle for two, hence the conundrum, who stays behind...Cryotogerian cost too much money to just throw away, he was a cyborg built of first order materials, in fact the last remaining Vanadium that powers this unit that exists on planet Earth was in this cyborg....it had to be Vulcan, she knew it, but built into the cyborg was never leave a teammate on the field, thats what the standard procedure didn't compensate for, he was all for leaving the Princess behind, which was impossible as a lot of people had died keeping her safe and getting her to this point, Vulcan did the only thing possible, she unplugged the cord that ran Cryotobarian, by means of a little special robot they carried on all there missions that was always left at the drop zone, so while she kept him busy with mundane facts about this and that about the mission, the sneaky little blighter nipped out and unplugged the Cyborg fro his Vanadium power plant, in fact his heart if you would call it that....Vulcan knew that death wasn't imminent just yet, if she could stay alive long enough for the rescue mission to reach her, than she was fine, the only problem was that whatever oxygen was left in the dome was slowly but surely dissipating in to the denser space air outside the dome.....she would have to head back into the danger zone, back into the firefight, where air was still trapped in some pockets, there she would have to try and wait out.....what a way to go hey, she always thought she would die with her boots on in some wild firefight somewhere off the Saturn belt....oh well the life of a warrior be it, at least the Princess was safe......
