.....In the realms of Superhero history, Batman must rank high up amongst the top, he has been around for so long to save the day, not help save the day, but actually save the day...single handled for most of the time, that is until he met up with Robin, the young upstart Superhero who never quite managed to make it to the top, although bless him he did try.....I have read Batman & Superman comics since I was a kid, alongside the Green lantern, Hawkeye, The Fantastic Four....then along came Captain America, The Avengers......lets not forget The Fantastic Four, but I think none captured our hearts more than the endearing Batman...his parents killed in front of him before his very eyes, the tragic upbringing as an only kid, with millions and millions of dollars , lets not forget Ha Ha Ha.....His story really starts as he is standing over his parents grave, picture it written....."it depicts a young Bruce Wayne witnessing the death of his parents as part of a street robbery. Days later, at their grave, the child vows that "by the spirits of my parents I will avenge their deaths by spending the rest of my life warring on all criminals".....and so he has, he is still a cult hero worshiped by many all round the world, his movies are sought after by collectors and movie watchers alike, his memorabilia brings high prices on the collectors market, I mean what a man, what a hero......some people say I remind them of the Batman, cos of my fine athletic build, although mine is a natural build, no weights for me, my classical godlike chiseled features, my gymnastic abilities on and off the field, read what you will into that, but deep down back at home, I am a modest person and would never say what I have just written in public or to people I don't really know, no never....anyhow I digress, where was I, oh yes Batman, in the first series of Batman he used to kill people in the pulp magazines of the 1930's, he wasn't above maiming a few either as long as it got him what he wanted, he got his first solo gig in the 1940's and he has never looked back from there....but I notice now they are bringing back an element of darkness back to Gothams very own vigilante, he is not loathe to break a coupla heads here, bust a coupla arms there, all in the name of Justice of course....I mean come on this the Batman we are talking about, not some common street thug...anyway I love the Bat and I hope he is still here for my grandkids to enjoy one day....do you remember...Biff, Kwang, Krrummffpp, Kpowww Ha Ha Ha Ha those were all the punching sounds that were written on screen when you watched a Batman acted out on the telly Ha Ha Ha awesome sound effects....anyway I dedicate this to the Bat, The Dark Angel of Gotham City, he totally rocks......
