Retrospective" seems to be an appropriate title for what will be my last Screenshot for the foreseeable future. Other than having to observe a pathetic perpetration on the Screenshot thread for the past two months (that is being allowed to continue), this has been a blast. All things change, and this will too eventually. However until that time, I choose to step away. Many thanks to those who have supported and encouraged my efforts to provide creative and quality Screenshots to this community for the last year and a half
Are you actually considering allowing someone else's politics to interfere with the love of your craft and the fun you're having WinStar? Being here since 2003 I've seen this shit for far too long and it's chased away loads of good people just like you! Have you seen Duke lately? Being your friend and the fact that you've just been promoted I have to say this. Think about what and whom you're really giving up on. But most of all, don't make the same mistake that I made when I got to this point! Do you really think the shananagans here are going to stop just because you quit? Forget about it Pal, this is their site to destroy if that's what they choose! Just think about it and what you love to do! You'll see the BS ain't worth one's sanity! Screenshots from shooters has never gotten respect around here and if the World Class Pure Shooters like you keep leaving, they never will! So I'm sticking around and fighting! Personally I plan on handing any doubters about a shooter's skills as an artform, a big shit-burger to eat! E-mail or PM me if you feel up to it bro! �

Awesome, awesome desktop Winstar my friend, but I can't help but feel too saddened by the news of you leaving to concentrate on your desktop, you are one of the best screenshooters on this site, without you this site will suffer big time, it needs the quality snipers to remain and make this place the quality place it has been in the past, will be in the future, its just every now and again it goes of the rails, I have been at this stage you are now at a time or two, Duke talked me down the once, then left shortly after himself, I have stayed and never regretted it, I have made friends with great people, you amongst them...your artwork is sometimes bordering on the sublime, how can you walk away with a talent like that,...all I can ask is that you stay, stay and be friends with us, forget about the politics and just chill with your buddies....Please Winstar, you're a great bloke man, stay

Windstar4, this is a lovely late fall/early winter type theme, a clean and good screenshot. Good choice of apps too. It's functional and clean and functional have always been my guidelines when I gather up the courage to submit a ss and pray folks won't ridicule it. I stopped commenting on all that I see here because while I support my friends, the sheer quantity was making me feel guilty that I couldn't do that and everything else I needed to do and didn't want anyone to feel slighted. I don't know where the "happy middle point" is, but I keep on keepin' on, and as an admirere I'd hope you would consider coming back and just doing it on your own terms.

You tell him M'Lady, he is a helluva nice bloke with heaps of sniper talent, and I don't want him to go, so you make him stay Karmat, tell him hes just has to, he will listen to you.....your a lady, a young beautiful talented lady, he will listen Ha Ha Ha Ha bye Karmat
