Hi,
This skin is really cool so I bought but can't install it. Is it because I have Windows 7 and not XP?

Could be why, richard_artiste.
I still have Windows XP so it works for me- but my father has Windows 7-- and not everything older I have works on his Windows 7. You may want to check and see if there is some sort of compatiblity wizard on Windows 7 which may allow it to work. I know Windows XP has a "compatability wizard"-- and that's why I'm able to install and run Afterdark 4.0 screensavers 
Maybe ask over at the Forum about this-- One of the experts over there may be able to guide you on how to get it to work
