grrat work windoe great old theme and nice work on the sysmetrix ...speaking of sysmetrix any clues on why i cant get background to blend with wall have the box ticked in prefs, but still no go

Thanks Grid ! There are two Smx styles : some (this one for example) are drawn with a squared image, and reframed with "magic pink" (255,0,255) which makes painted areas transparent No need to do anything else. Some others are made of two different superimposed images, one for background, one for SMX itself. In this case , the way to make BG transparent is :
- Theme settings/parameters/copy desktop BG for pseudo transparency
and normally Sys blends with wall. Check your settings !

thanks windoe checked the settings and the box is ticked i tried unticking and then ticking again still wont blend uninstalled and reinstalled still no good but thanks heaps for taking the time to help
