Question: I've noticed you, Fairyy and boopish using this Silica Frame and MP3 player alot in your screenshots...do i have to have desktopX for these things? Because i really like the frame thingies and the weather you all use. Also what is this Rainmeter thingie i keep seeing? Is it something like Sysmetrix? Just curious because i think im behind in times....lol

Panda... all of that stuff (with the exception of Rainmeter) are DesktopX Widgets and you need to have DesktopX installed in order to use them. I love DX; the Widgets make computing life much simpler. Rainmeter can be downloaded at the Rainy headquarters and they also offer skins for it there through Customize.org; it is similar to Sysmetrix but I find need for both which is why I use them together.

I love it all. Herein is the most striking aspect of this shot to me: I know not why this has such imact upon me but what adds grandly to the screenshot is your selection of clock. I know not why this strikes me so but it does.

It's funny you should say that because, believe it or not, that clock is the default skin for that program. I've always said there is a striking simplicity in resorting to the defaults when all else fails and why I could have found a more elaborate Sysmetrix for this shot, I agree that in the end, the default was what looked best. I tried many different ones but wasn't entirely happy with it until I said the he-- with it and threw the default up in frustration... lol. Voila!
